
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street' (Closing Bell) as well as 'Squawk on the Street' (CNBC). She is an Ohio native, but was not fascinated by markets or currencies when she was in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It was there that she garnered her first experience with business news. She then earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did a 4-month work experience at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to the US and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. She became a television anchor in the end. In December 2013, she was hired by CNBC as a correspondent. She was anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange as well as 'Power Lunch', and then landed the job on "Closing Bell in the year the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. One of the most renowned journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus is on global consumer stories ever since she joined CNBC.
